Classic French Toast with Bacon

INGREDIENTS
- 4 slices of Promise Gluten Free White Loaf
- 2 large free range eggs
- 5 fl oz milk
- Pinch of salt
- Butter for frying
- 6 slices bacon
- Maple syrup
STEPS
STEP 1
Whisk together the eggs, milk, and pinch of salt in a baking dish.
STEP 2
Dip the slices of bread both sides into the egg mixture.
STEP 3
Meanwhile heat a frying pan and melt the butter until its foaming.
STEP 4
Fry the bread, in batches, on each side until golden.
STEP 5
Cook the bacon until crisp.
STEP 6
Serve drizzled with maple syrup and topped with bacon slices.
