INGREDIENTS
- 2 PureBred Gluten Free White Rolls
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 hot dog sausages
- Dijon mustard
- Rocket, to garnish
STEPS
STEP 1
Melt the butter in a heavy based frying pan, saute the onions in the butter over a medium-low heat until they are soft and caramelised, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and cook stirring until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.
STEP 2
Prepare the hot dog following instructions on the packet.
STEP 3
Split the buns down the centre and warm through in an oven 170C for 10 minutes.
STEP 4
To serve, spread the mustard in the buns, place the hotdogs in the centre, dress with some caramelised onions, more mustard, to taste and some rocket leaves.
