Moules Marniere: mussels steamed with white wine and shallots

Preparation, Make 4 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • Promise Gluten Free White rolls
  • 1 Net cleaned, de-bearded mussels
  • Splash of White Wine
  • 25g Butter
  • 1 Clove of garlic, crushed
  • 2 Shallots, finely diced
  • Chopped parsley, to serve
STEPS
STEP 1

In a large pan with a lid, heat the butter till melted.

STEP 2

Add the garlic and shallots and cook till soft.

STEP 3

Turn up the heat and add the mussels and white wine.

STEP 4

Put on the lid and cook until the mussels have opened.

STEP 5

Discard any mussels that do not open.

STEP 6

Ladle into bowls.

STEP 7

Top with parsley and serve with the rolls.
