Savoury French Toast with sautéed spinach, mushroom and fried egg.

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 slices Promise Gluten Free soft white loaf
  • 1 egg
  • Splash of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 4 sliced mushrooms
  • 1 fried egg.
  • Salt and pepper to season
STEPS
STEP 1

Beat eggs and milk in a shallow dish and then soak slices of bread in this in turn.

STEP 2

Fry the bread in a hot frying pan with a little butter till golden on both sides.

STEP 3

In a separate frying pan, saute the mushrooms until golden and at the end add the spinach to wilt.

STEP 4

Top with a fried egg, season with salt and pepper and serve.
